个人简介
四川农业大学农学专业1983级学士、作物遗传育种专业1987级硕士、1995级博士,博士论文获2000年度全国100篇优秀博士学位论文。先后荣获国家杰出青年科学基金、四川省科技杰出贡献奖和何梁何利基金奖,被遴选为国家“百千万”人才工程国家级人选,全国农业科研杰出人才,四川省天府万人计划杰出人才和农业大师。现担任中国遗传学会理事、四川省遗传学会副理事长和四川省作物学会常务理事。
长期从事水稻遗传与育种研究和人才培养。针对西南稻区生态环境,开展了重穗型杂交稻核心种质及基因组序列研究,定位克隆了系列控制穗粒结构和灌浆充实等有重要育种价值的新基因,研究完善了水稻轮回群体改良方法,形成了提高重穗型杂交稻亲本选育效率的技术体系,育成了川农1A、蜀恢527和498等重穗型杂交稻骨干亲本,组配出系列重穗型杂交稻新品种,其中农业部认定为超级稻6个,推广种植2亿余亩。先后获国家和省部级奖励10余项,其中国家科技进步二等奖3项,四川科技进步一等奖3项;发表论文200余篇,SCI收录60余篇。培养毕业研究生100余名,其中博士38名。
